Orange Line on a Winter Night

Created in 2025 as part of Creative Malden's community mural project in partnership with the MBTA and the City of Malden, this mural celebrates the history and everyday life of public transit in Malden. Orange Line on a Winter Night depicts a train arriving at Malden Center in a bold, Pop Art-inspired style, with vibrant colors, graphic lines, and bustling commuters. The mural is painted on 8 × 4 ft metal with acrylic paints. By transforming an ordinary subway ride into a lively urban scene, the mural highlights the energy, diversity, and shared experiences that make the MBTA an essential connection within the community.
